Welcome Baby Boy!

Blade and I want to introduce everyone to our new bundle of joy!

Mason Alan Schallenberger

He weighed in at 8lbs, 20 inches and is a healthy little boy. We went into labor Tuesday night and didn't have him unitl 12:32am Thursday. We left the hospital Friday afternoon and have been home since. We are just so in love with him and can't wait to continue the days as our new family of 3.

Blade and I are doing good, just a little tired! Blade has been amazing throughout this whole experience. He hasn't left my side, and I have never loved him more. He's such a natural dad, and has been so amazing taking care of Mason and helping me while I recover. When Mason looks up at him with his big blue eyes, it melts my heart! Daddy and son are going to have a special relationship!

We want to thank all our family and friends for thinking of us and sending us your love and congratulations. We wish everyone lived closer, but we know that you'll all get a chance to meet our little guy one day soon! It's such a special time and Blade and I are loving sharing it with each other. He has some time off and it's so nice to be able to bond as just the three of us these first few days together.

New News!

Well our due date of February 9th has come and gone, and still no baby boy! We had an appointment yesterday and they scheduled us for an induction this thursday night. AHHH! (just nerves!) Our doctors told us that we could go 1 week over, so I was anticipating next Monday or Tuesday...not this Thursday. But we are excited and more than ready to meet our little guy, so Thursday it is! They said we probably won't have him until Friday, so it looks like we'll be having a Friday the 13th child!! The Car Seat is ready to go and we can't wait drive home with him in it! We'll post an update and pics as soon as we can so everyone can see him and learn the long awaited name! You'll know it soon enough mom and Jen!!
