The Past Few Weeks....

Well The Past Few Weeks have flown by. We enjoyed our week together as a family of three until Blade had to go back to work. Now we miss him like crazy, but look forward to our nights and weekends together. Mason has continued to amaze us and is as adorable as can be. He loves to go for car rides in his carseat...he can be entertained for hours in his swing....and he can cuddle with daddy and sleep on his chest looking content as can be. His first doctors appointment went well and they said he is gaining weight and is right on track with his health. His color is looking better, and we don't have to go back until his 1 month appt.
We've had some Special Visitors these last few weeks too, and it's been really nice. The first week we were home we had some wives from the Spouses Club deliver us home cooked meals. It was so nice not to have to worry about cooking, and we thank everyone for coming over, meeting Mason, and bringing us the yummy food! Then my mom came down for a few days. We loved seeing her and spending time with her too. She was fighting off a cold when she was here, so she didn't get to love on Mason like she wished...but he still loved seeing her! I promise next time you can hold him and kiss him and spoil him rotten! Oh and I can't believe I didn't take any pictures while she was here....I am so sorry mom!

A couple days after my mom left, my sister came down for a long weekend. We had such a nice time with her, and we appreciated her help so much. She taught me so much and I love her to pieces for coming down. I love getting advice from people, but I especially loved learning from Jen, she is my best friend and an amazing mom of 2.

Mason loved spending time with his Auntie and we can't wait to introduce him to Jack and Joey...I know they are going to love playing cars together!

Here's a few pics Jen took of us....Thanks a bunch!

Last but not least!....Mason had his First Real Bath today! We had only given him sponge baths since his umbilical cord stump was intact, but since that fell off recently, we decided it would be fun to try out our new 'Whale tub'! He was a little unsure of the water at first, but in the end we think he liked it!

I am so glad you updated. I have been wondering how your little family of 3 has been doing. The pictures are so cute, Mason is adorable, and you definitely don't look like you had a baby a few weeks ago. You look great, and that family picture where Mason is looking up at you is my favorite. Glad all is well, and your mom and sister were there to help you. Those first few weeks are such a blurr, it's nice to have family help with all the chores and what not.
